April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and Dade First-Family Connection sponsors the Blue Ribbon Glow Run to raise child abuse awareness. Join the 1-mile run, walk or crawl at the Dade County High School track.
US 11 Antique Alley
Always the 4-day weekend after Mother’s Day

Explore the backroads and enjoy the US 11 Antique Alley and Yard Sale! Over 30,000 visitors travel the 502-mile route shopping for antiques and collectibles. Discover historic cities and charming downtowns along the way. Each community may have 100 booths or more as merchants set up on courthouse squares, residential lawns and fields, and antique storefronts.

This annual arts and crafts show has been featuring talented artists and craftspeople for nearly 50 years. Wander the wooded setting to visit vendors displaying and selling pottery, paintings, furniture, wood carving, wreaths, baskets, jellies, and more! Live entertainment, door prizes, and plenty of autumn food favorites!

Gobble up goodies at the annual Trick-or-Treat on the Square. Local businesses and organizations provide a safe place for children to trick-or-treat for Halloween. There will be Teal Pumpkins for children with food allergies and other dietary restrictions.

The entire family will enjoy a hayride through the beautiful fall colors at Cloudland Canyon State Park! Plus kid-friendly activities – bubbles, corn hole, coloring, tattoos, sandbox and more! Noon – 5pm, last hayride departs at 4pm. Refreshments available for purchase.

Fundraising event hosted by Girl Scout Troop 40118, Cub Scout Pack 3229 and Scouts BSA 29. Open to organizations, businesses, families and individuals – make your most creative scarecrow and display it on the square! Activities and Awards! Bring 2 cans of food to vote for your favorite scarecrow (to benefit the Tri-State Food Pantry)

An annual favorite, this is a lighted parade that features local groups, organizations, agencies, churches and more as they parade through town on floats, four wheelers, golf carts, fire-trucks, horses, wagons and more! And, of course, Santa rides into town on a big fire truck!
